North America is a continent located in the Northern Hemisphere and almost entirely within the Western Hemisphere. It’s bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the west and south, and South America to the southeast. The continent comprises Canada, the United States, Mexico, and various smaller countries and territories. It’s incredibly diverse, both geographically and culturally, and is home to a wide range of ecosystems, from arctic tundra to tropical rainforests.
